In the News: Construction Underway on Phase 2 at One Westside

Construction has officially begun on Phase 2 at One Westside, a major initiative by the Chattanooga Housing Authority [in partnership with Columbia Residential], designed to replace more than 600 aging public housing units.

Located at 1150 Boynton Drive in the College Hill neighborhood, the new development will consist of 144 apartments and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027.

The second phase of One Westside will create a true mixed-income housing community, with 66 of its units designated for public housing. The remaining 78 apartments will be divided between market-rate homes and units reserved for households earning between 60% and 80% of the area median income, according to Columbia Residential CEO Jim Grauley.
