Columbia Residential Names Aaron Swain As Partner

ATLANTA, GA — Aaron Swain, President of Property Management and Operations for Columbia Residential, has been named Partner for the company and joins Noel Khalil and Jim Grauley as owners. Swain joined the company in 2018 and brings more than 30 years of experience in the management of affordable and mixed-income housing in the United States.

“Noel and I are most pleased to have Aaron join us as owner and partner in this business,” said Grauley. “Over the past two and a half years he has brought a new level of organization, professionalism, and excellence to our company and will lead the future growth of management operations.”

During the past year, the affordable housing industry encountered a unique set of challenges due to the outbreak of COVID-19, with senior housing communities being acutely impacted. Swain demonstrated exemplary leadership during this unprecedented time by enabling the company to successfully pivot without disruption to its operations.

“At the onset of COVID-19, we acted quickly to protect our staff and our residents,” Swain explained. “We made the conscious decision to keep our property management teams onsite to continue serving our residents and providing them the resources and support they needed. We knew that residents needed our help and were too vulnerable to negative life events if we did not stay open,” he continued.
