In the News: Affordable Housing Headed to MARTA Station in Decatur

Affordable housing is headed to the MARTA station in Decatur thanks to Columbia Residential and their partnerships with the City of Decatur, Columbia Ventures, and Cortland.

MARTA has announced that Columbia Residential and the Decatur Housing Authority have closed on financing for an 80-unit housing development across from the transit station. The transit-oriented development (TOD) with one- and two-bedroom units will provide housing for residents at incomes below 80 percent AMI.

MARTA sold the land to Columbia Residential in May 2021.
