Three years after MARTA first targeted its Edgewood-Candler Park station for redevelopment, the project is gaining momentum to break ground.
Real estate company Columbia Ventures recently sought a land development permit from Atlanta that would allow for the partial demolition of the transit station’s parking lot, making way for a new apartment project, performing arts center, restaurant, and park. The request was submitted by Atlanta-based Long Engineering.
