As Vice President of Finance and Accounting, Ashleigh Adesanya leads financial reporting across Columbia Residential’s portfolio of corporate, multifamily, and development entities, providing strategic financial leadership and partnering with the company’s other Vice Presidents to advance the business plans of the company. She oversees corporate accounting, development accounting, property accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, tax, and revenue recognition, and designs and maintains strong systems of internal control to meet internal and external reporting requirements. She works closely with the Chief Operating Officer to establish and administer company-wide best practices in accounting and finance, and shares Columbia’s passion for providing quality, affordable housing communities that advance lives and strengthen neighborhoods.
Ashleigh joined Columbia Residential as Controller in 2024, following a career at RPM Living, where she rose from Senior Accountant to Property Controller over five years, and earlier roles at RAM Partners, CA Ventures, and CF Real Estate Services. She holds a BA in Business Accounting and Information Systems from CUNY, Queens College.
